Job summary

Sherman Associates is seeking an experienced Construction Manager based in the Greater Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. The role oversees construction projects from design through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery within budget across multifamily assets.

The position requires 10+ years in residential real estate construction and a Bachelors in a related field. Hybrid work is expected, with some travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience within residential real estate.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Prior multifamily general contracting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preliminary budget estimates and outline renovation/new construction specs.
• Coordinate bid process and review bids for completeness.
• Monitor project costs to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Ensure design standards across developments and capital projects are followed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, and Asset Management for capital planning.
• Lead on-site coordination to meet budgets and schedules.
