Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Sr Compliance Independent Testing Analyst in Sacramento, with a hybrid work arrangement. This exempt role collaborates with Compliance and business units to independently test policies, controls, and regulatory adherence, delivering actionable recommendations.

You will lead, document, and report testing efforts, manage findings, and drive corrective actions while maintaining regulatory awareness and process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 7+ years of Financial Services experience in regulatory compliance, internal/external audit, or related programs required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct independent compliance testing to assess the effectiveness of policies, procedures, and controls.
• Plan, fieldwork, and reporting of assigned Compliance Testing reviews with limited supervision.
• Identify scope and depth of testing from risk assessments and controls.
• Develop testing approach and supporting workpapers to cover regulatory requirements.
• Complete reviews within time and budget goals.
• Prepare draft findings and management action plans with recommendations.
• Facilitate management agreement and remediation tracking.
• Document findings per the Credit Union’s processes and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in monitoring activities, KPI/KRI reporting, and ad-hoc testing.
