Job summary

This opportunity seeks a Civil Engineer to join a growing civil design practice in the Denver area, spanning mining, oil and gas, and rail while contributing to environmental infrastructure across the Western United States.

You will manage the full project lifecycle from engineering design and permitting to construction-phase field engineering, with emphasis on hydraulic modeling, earthwork, and permit drawings. The role offers a hybrid schedule and up to 25% travel for field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE licensure with reciprocity in western states or willingness to obtain.
• 5-7+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the full project lifecycle from design through construction.
• Prepare permits, proposals, and reports for clients.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and earthwork/site design.
• Coordinate across disciplines and interface with clients.
