Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mining Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registered in Alaska or able to obtain.
• 5+ years mining industry experience; consulting background a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with geochemistry, geotechnics, groundwater and environmental teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil design for mine waste, water engineering, permitting and closure.
• Manage technical deliverables, budgets and schedules.
• Participate in design through permitting processes.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, models and methods.
• Interface with clients and conduct site visits/inspections.
• Contribute to SRK’s engineering practice development and business growth.
• Mentor others and participate in business development.
