Placements24 is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own backend architecture and delivery in a fintech setting. You will design and implement robust microservices with Java and Spring, lead a team of engineers, and guide the development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, and cloud teams to ensure scalable, secure solutions on AWS/Azure, while driving best practices, code quality, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend development experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Proven experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud usage (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with RESTful API design and scalable systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
