AssureSoft is seeking an accomplished Backend Engineer to own significant Java/Spring backend systems. You will design scalable microservices, REST APIs, and data models, while guiding a team of engineers through code reviews and best practices.

You will work with product and technical leaders to translate complex requirements into robust solutions, leveraging AWS and modern tooling in an Agile environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced Java knowledge with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building microservices.
• REST APIs and third-party integrations experience.
• Relational DB design; MySQL preferred.
• ORM technologies such as JPA/Hibernate.
• Git and modern software development practices.
• Automated testing and code quality emphasis.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools a bonus.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS; Agile environment.

Responsabilidades

• Take end-to-end ownership of backend systems and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions and decisions on design and APIs.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Design and implement scalable, secure backend apps in Java/Spring.
• Build and evolve REST APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product, business, and tech leadership.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
