Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Sr. Actuarial Analyst to join the Workers’ Compensation actuarial team in Hartford, CT, focusing on Loss Ratio Planning, loss trend analysis, and leadership communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Actuarial exam path with at least 2 exams.
• 2+ years Property & Casualty actuarial experience.
• Pricing and reserving knowledge.
• Strong Excel; R/Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own key components of Loss Ratio Planning analyses.
• Monitor performance relative to plan and support Health of the Line reviews.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to diagnose drivers of performance vs plan.
• Improve analytical tools, processes and capabilities.
