THREE Insurance, part of Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to lead complex actuarial analyses and regulatory filings for commercial lines. The role requires collaboration with Pricing, Product, and Technology teams, with a focus on advancing the insurtech initiative and ensuring accurate rate implementations.

The position is hybrid, with 2 mandatory in-office days weekly at the Stamford, CT location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years actuarial pricing/reserving experience in P&C insurance.
• Favorable CAS Ratemaking exam (Exam 5).
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or VBA for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory rate filings and system rate implementations for commercial lines.
• Define and execute a long-term filings transformation roadmap.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Product, Technology and Insurance Regulators to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
• Identify opportunities to automate and use modern analytical tools to generate insights from filing data.
• Support rate indications, reserving analyses, profitability studies across multiple lines.
