Job summary

Englert Inc., a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and gutter systems, seeks an Accounting Supervisor for a hybrid role in Perth Amboy, NJ. You will oversee GL, month-end close, reconciliations, payroll, and intercompany activity, ensuring US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of accounting experience, a BS in Accounting, and excels at coordinating deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GL, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Excel proficiency with reconciliations and analysis.
• Working ERP systems experience and understanding of GL/subledger.
• Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and deadline management.
• Ability to collaborate with AP/AR/FP&A and other departments.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review staff accountants' cash reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and LeafGuard activity.
• Prepare payroll accounting entries, commissions, and vendor payments.
• Analyze variances with FP&A and support audits with documentation.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and review of accounting work.
• Identify and implement internal controls and process improvements.
