Englert is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor based in Perth Amboy, NJ in a hybrid role requiring three on-site days per week. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including US GAAP knowledge and fixed assets. Prior manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Accounting.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Excel proficiency: intermediate to advanced.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring US GAAP compliance.
• Review staff accountants' cash reporting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations; manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations, cash activity, and fixed asset accounting; maintain lease records.
• Manage payroll accounting entries, sales representative commissions, and related accruals.
• Support year-end audits with schedules, documentation, and audit responses; collaborate with leaders on impacts of changes.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and quality control to accounting staff.
