The Senior Accountant, based in Tysons, VA, oversees the general ledger, daily transactions, journal entries, and month-end close, while supporting global projects and policy compliance across Worldwide Finance operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.
3+ years public accounting experience and/or corporate accounting experience required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High attention to detail with accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Support internal and external financial audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to audit requests.
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and Company accounting policies applicable to assigned areas.
Respond to ad hoc accounting inquiries and information requests from Finance and other business partners.
