CoreSite in Denver is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial operations for owned and leased properties and corporate HQ.

You will manage the monthly close, prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and provide insights across accounting functions. The role emphasizes collaboration, SOX compliance, and GAAP reporting, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required or preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance with accrual-based close.
• CPA license is preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis for multiple entities.
• Manage structured month-end close, deliverables by the 5th business day.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and close packages.
• Present financial results to stakeholders and management.
• Support audits and external reporting; respond to accounting inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support process improvements.
