Job summary

Prologis, a global leader in logistics real estate, seeks a Senior Real Estate Operations Accountant in Denver to manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate operations.

You will partner with property operations and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate results, robust controls, and continuous process improvements across the function.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive accounting experience with GL close and reconciliations.
• Proficiency applying U.S. GAAP to accounting activities.
• Experience in internal controls and financial statement relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations; age and resolve items.
• Analyze GL activity for accuracy and variances; research issues with partners.
• Account for property operating activities (expenses, taxes, utilities, etc.).
• Collaborate with property management, operations, tax, treasury, FP&A, and accounting teams.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation; support audits and corrective actions.
• Support system/process improvements, projects, and knowledge transfer.
