nVent is seeking a finance professional to drive plant financial operations, project accounting, and general ledger management in Fulton, MO or Oshkosh, WI. This role partners with Project Management, Engineering, and plant leadership to ensure accurate reporting and drive cost improvements.

Responsibilities include month-end close, revenue recognition, and complex invoicing while maintaining compliance with US GAAP and SOX.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
5+ years in operational finance, FP&A, or corporate finance; project accounting preferred.
Working knowledge of plant standard costing, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, U.S. GAAP, and Sarbanes‑Oxley.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JDE).
Exposure to OneStream or Tableau is a plus.

Mansioni

Lead month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and GL verification.
Manage project accounting activities, including invoicing and billing compliance.
Partner with AR and Project Management to facilitate timely billings and cash collections.
Analyze financial and operational performance via regular reporting (labor, materials, productivity, variance).
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements; support SOX.
