Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT) seeks a Supervising Senior Accountant in our Business Management group to lead financial reporting and operations for diverse clients in a hybrid work environment in California. The role emphasizes accuracy, intercompany oversight, payroll, and client service.

The candidate should have 7+ years in corporate accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA preferred, and experience with GL, intercompany transactions, AP/AR, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Active CPA license or working toward CPA license preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Experience with AgilLink and QuickBooks/QBO a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
• Thorough understanding of general ledger, intercompany transactions, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, including monthly cash flows, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
• Maintain financial records with lead schedules for asset and liability accounts.
• Perform GL reconciliations and analyze discrepancies.
• Manage accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and month-end closeouts.
• Record and reconcile client bank and credit card statements.
• Monitor cash flow and provide client reporting as needed.
• Deliver comprehensive client meeting packages with insights.
• Provide accounting support and escalate when necessary.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Be prepared to tackle ad hoc projects as needed.
