Jobot seeks a Hybrid Sr Accountant to join our nonprofit finance team in Arizona. You will maintain accounts, run month-end close, prepare statements, and support grant accounting with an emphasis on accuracy and GAAP compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an active CPA, have 3+ years of nonprofit accounting experience, and enjoy leveraging automation (VBA, Power Apps) to improve processes and reporting. This is a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chart of accounts and perform month-end close with journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and support reporting processes.
• Manage grant accounting and post-award compliance.
• Assist audits with schedules and documentation.
• Identify improvements in processes and automation for efficiency.
