EXSIF is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a multi-entity, international accounting environment. You will report to the Accounting Manager and help drive timely close processes in a hybrid office setting anchored at our Chicago HQ.

You will prepare journal entries, manage foreign currency issues, and contribute to consolidated reporting for management and the parent company. Strong IT and Dynamics/OneStream experience is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting experience; combined public/private background preferred.
• Experience with month-end close and financial analytics.
• Global accounting and foreign currency experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Process-oriented with a passion for developing best practice.
• Proven IT skills including Power Queries and databases.
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, analysis, and business processes.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel proficient (VLOOKUP’s, Sum-ifs, Pivot tables).
• Experience with multi-national entity work environment and foreign exchange matters (preferred).
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred).
• Experience with OneStream consolidation platform (plus).
• Experience with designing and creating reports in the Microsoft Dynamics report writer (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts and perform monthly financial analysis across entities and currencies.
• Manage foreign branch office accounting and communication with local staff.
• Review schedules for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash tie-outs for all accounts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly Product and Segment reports.
• Prepare SG&A and operational accruals and management reporting materials.
• Interpret and communicate financial information clearly and succinctly.
• Ensure internal controls are effective and identify process improvements.
• Support internal and external audits.
