EXSIF Worldwide, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a multi-entity, international accounting environment. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and ensures close processes and reporting are accurate, timely, and compliant with US GAAP.

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, analyze results, and partner with Finance and business units to strengthen controls and improve processes in a hybrid office setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 6 years accounting experience, public/private mix preferred.
• Experience with month-end close and financial analytics.
• Global accounting experience and foreign currency accounting a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics and OneStream is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Assist month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial analysis across multiple legal entities and currencies, meeting a deadline-driven close calendar.
• Accounting for foreign branch offices and communications with local staff at branch offices.
• Review reporting schedules prepared by domestic and foreign business partners for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash tie-outs for U.S. and foreign-currency accounts.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly Product and Segment Reports.
• Preparation of SG&A and operational accruals and management reporting materials.
• Interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information, such as variance analysis, clearly and concisely.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and are effective.
• Evaluate accounting processes, controls, close checklists, reconciliations, and reporting workflows; implement practical continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support internal and external audits.
