The role covers hedge accounting, pension and post-retirement accounting, equity and non-controlling interests, and selected consolidation support, with a focus on process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years public accounting or 4+ years private accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP with ability to apply standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced close.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain complex recurring corporate accounting entries.
• Prepare balance sheet rollforward schedules and analytical support.
• Prepare financial statements for pension plan filings across multiple plans.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas.
• Serve as first-level reviewer for Staff Accountant duties.
• Provide feedback to support development and minimize rework at review stage.
• Identify and elevate issues or errors with recommended resolutions.
• Support monthly global consolidation process and ensure accurate account utilization.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly analytical reviews including intercompany P&L and cash flow.
• Maintain quarterly reporting files and schedules for legal and risk stakeholders.
• Prepare semi-annual management representation letters with international teams.
• Support quarterly balance sheet reviews with Manager.
