Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a nationwide aviation company, seeks a Senior Accountant for its Plano, TX team. The role focuses on timely and accurate financial close and reporting of corporate and consolidated results.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement after training, with one day per week remote, and a compensation range of $100,000–$105,000 plus bonus depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and solid understanding of financial reporting standards.
• 3-5 years public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly flux analysis and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors during audits and provide documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Support system implementations or upgrades related to financial systems.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal to support strategic initiatives.
• Advise on accounting policies, principles, and best practices.
• Assist senior leadership on ad hoc projects.
