Job summary

VSCO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team in a hybrid role based in San Francisco. You will own month-end close, GL, audit readiness, and automate workflows while partnering with the Director of Accounting and others across finance.

You’ll help modernize our ERP and AP/expense technology, drive efficiency, and scale the close process as VSCO grows, with opportunities to influence our accounting infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience with close ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and new financial tools.
• Ability to own workstreams, solve problems, and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own key month-end close activities from start to finish.
• Prepare journal entries and audit-ready documentation.
• Maintain general ledger in Campfire and related systems.
• Partner with leadership to improve close speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Drive automation of AP and expense workflows.
• Support audits and strengthen accounting controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally as priorities evolve.
