Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center Inc. seeks a Supervisor Social Worker for the Self Determination Program in a hybrid San Rafael location.

You will oversee SDP services, provide training, and coordinate with DDS, SDLAC, and families to implement Individual Program Plans and manage budgets. The role requires a BS in Social Work (MS preferred), a clinical license or eligibility, and 4+ years post-Master’s experience with 2+ years in a Regional Center setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related human services field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Clinical License at time of hire and ability to maintain license in good standing preferred
• 4+ years post-Master’s work with increasing responsibility
• 2+ years Regional Center Experience

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for SDP questions and training internally and externally
• Initiate and respond to communications on service eligibility and standards
• Develop program plans with clients and monitor results
• Provide advocacy and train individuals and families in advocacy issues
• Maintain case records and produce reports
• Engage in Person-Centered planning meetings to develop IPs and budgets
• Attend monthly SDLAC meetings as GGRC staff support
• Complete funding for SDP budget and related reports
• Coordinate and monitor SDP service delivery as needed
• Provide SDP information and respond to SDP emails
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Serve as back up to Social Workers and participate in supervisory on-call rotation
