Job summary

IOActive seeks a Managing Consultant to drive technical scoping and execution across client engagements. You will lead scoping conversations, align requirements with deliverables, and help design proposals that reflect feasible, accurate plans.

You will oversee technical project delivery, review reports with directors, and mentor security consultants. This hybrid role blends hands-on delivery with leadership and growth within IOActive’s Services organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in offensive security services with hands-on delivery across client engagements.
• Strong technical background in at least one offensive security service line (application security, red team, mobile security, etc.).
• Ability to translate technical findings into client-ready recommendations and support proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical scoping and requirements-gathering conversations with clients during the planning phase.
• Facilitate the Project Profitability Model (PPM) process to establish clear project objectives and requirements.
• Assist in drafting sections of Statements of Work (SoW).
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to establish project tasks and ownership; provide technical coordination.
