Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Securities Lending Analyst to support the daily securities lending desk. The role manages recalls, buy-ins, reconciliations, and billing with internal teams, broker-dealers, and correspondents, ensuring timely resolution and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will be the primary operational contact for internal and external partners, handling loan activity with accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
• SIE license or will have within 3 months of hire date
• Must be detail-oriented
• Displays a relentless focus on customer service and customer satisfaction
• Holds self accountable for high personal and professional standards
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be very analytical with the ability to develop understanding of finance and the Securities Lending business
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Issues recalls to cover deficits and fails to deliver
• Approves customer short sales request pursuant to regulatory requirements
• Checks incoming security needs list for various brokers and lends the securities appropriately
• Performs stock loan buy-ins on securities that are on loan and not returned
• Borrows securities from different broker/dealers as needed to cover internal needs
• Performs daily reconciliations for various stock loan accounts
• Assists with the end of month billing process with broker/dealers and correspondents
• Provides support to correspondents inquiring about locates, hard to borrow charges, and buy in concerns
