Apex Fintech Solutions seeks a Securities Lending Analyst to support daily securities lending desk operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is required.
• SIE license or will obtain within 3 months of hire is required.
• Detail-oriented approach and strong analytical skills are essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and high personal standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Issues recalls to cover deficits and fails to deliver.
• Approves customer short sales requests per regulatory requirements.
• Checks security needs lists for brokers and lends securities accordingly.
• Performs stock loan buy-ins on securities on loan and not returned.
• Borrows securities from broker/dealers to cover internal needs.
• Performs daily reconciliations for stock loan accounts.
• Supports end-of-month billing with brokers and correspondents.
• Assists with locates, hard-to-borrow charges, and buy-in inquiries.

About This Role

Summary Description

The Securities Lending Analyst supports the daily operations of the firm’s securities lending desk. This role is responsible for monitoring and managing stock loan activity, including loan recalls, buy-ins, contract reconciliations and billing support. The Analyst serves as a key operational contact for internal teams, broker-dealers, and correspondent firms, ensuring timely resolution of securities lending needs while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and firm requirements.

Position Responsibilities

• Issues recalls to cover deficits and fails to deliver
• Approves customer short sales request pursuant to regulatory requirements
• Checks incoming security needs list for various brokers and lends the securities appropriately
• Performs stock loan buy-ins on securities that are on loan and not returned
• Borrows securities from different broker/dealers as needed to cover internal needs
• Performs daily reconciliations for various stock loan accounts
• Assists with the end of month billing process with broker/dealers and correspondents
• Provides support to correspondents inquiring about locates, hard to borrow charges, and buy in concerns

Candidates Must Have The Following Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
• SIE license or will have within 3 months of hire date
• Must be detail-oriented
• Displays a relentless focus on customer service and customer satisfaction
• Holds self accountable for high personal and professional standards
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be very analytical with the ability to develop understanding of finance and the Securities Lending business
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

Additional Qualifications Preferred But Not Required

• 1-3 years’ experience on a securities lending desk, preferably in operations.
• Working knowledge of stock record and securities clearing
