Job summary

TENEX, an AI-native MDR provider, is seeking a Platform Security Automation Engineer in San Jose, CA. You will deploy, maintain, and integrate SIEM, SOAR, and EDR environments across multiple vendors and build production Python services with robust APIs.

You will own end-to-end platform reliability, design safety guardrails for automated responses, and collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable, observable tooling in an on-site, fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating SIEM/SOAR/EDR platforms.
• Experience building production Python services and APIs.
• Experience integrating with vendor APIs with auth, rate limits, retries.
• Proven end-to-end production ownership of a platform.
• Ability to design safe automated response guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Operate security platforms across vendors including SIEM/SOAR/EDR.
• Resolve agent issues, performance impacts, and upgrades.
• Build and deploy production Python services and APIs.
• Automate detection and response workflows with safety guardrails.
• Own platform reliability and latency; participate in on-call.
• Create internal tooling with observable logging and metrics.
