Job summary

SSA Marine, a Seattle-based operator of marine terminals, seeks a Project Manager for its Engineering department. The successful candidate will lead diverse projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and operational efficiency, reporting to the Director of Civil Engineering & Projects.

Responsibilities include managing project delivery from concept to execution, ensuring compliance with SSA's policies and budget. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree, at least 8 years of experience, and preferably a background in the transportation industry.

The role offers a hybrid work environment with a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $165,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Project Delivery Manager.
• Proven success leading large multi-million-dollar CAPEX and expansion projects.
• Background in transportation or shipping industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from initiation through closeout.
• Prepare and maintain project execution plans and schedules.
• Manage project reporting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Support the preparation of RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract awards.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality policies.
