Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to support infrastructure and security initiatives. You will partner with Program Managers, Infrastructure and Security teams, driving delivery from inception through completion in a hybrid work setup in Annapolis, MD.

The role requires strong facilitation, Agile coaching, and the ability to align cross-functional teams while communicating with C‑suite leadership and IS leadership. Certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or blended role.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Experience leading infrastructure or cybersecurity initiatives.
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Certifications like Scrum Master or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews, retros).
• Partner with Program Managers and Infrastructure/Security teams to drive execution.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on goals and deliverables.
• Support projects using Agile and Waterfall as needed.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Foster a collaborative environment with accountability and continuous improvement.
