Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a project-based, limited-term Operations/Production Support role aimed at coordinating remote productions across NBC Sports. The position involves engaging with staff, freelancers, and vendors to hire crew for events, and to build accurate crew sheets for each production.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills, with a willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as event schedules demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Understanding of technical crew roles in a production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Extremely organized, detail oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with NBC staff, daily hires and freelance personnel to recruit for remote productions, negotiating rates and hiring before events.
• Coordinate with Technical and Production Managers to prepare accurate crew sheets for remote productions.
• Relay crew event information to Production Managers to coordinate travel logistics cost-effectively.
• Support Operations in resolving last-minute scheduling and crewing issues (schedule changes, sick calls, location changes).
• Provide payroll support for each event.
• Manage internal SCORE system, including onboarding new hires.
