Job summary
AVEVA is seeking a SCADA Technical Lead in Houston, TX, to provide technical leadership on large-scale, multi-year customer projects. You will act as the lead software project engineer, coordinating requirements, software/hardware specs, and bill of materials while ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or CS and 5+ years of relevant experience, with travel 20-50% and a hybrid work arrangement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
- 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
- Experience leading large-scale, high-complexity projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead software project engineer for customer projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop project schedules, risk management, and communication plans.
- Guide system design efforts and lead the project technical team.
- Monitor and control project performance, updates, and risk management.
- Lead project closeout including financial reconciliation and customer handover.
