KLR is a leading CPA and business advisory firm based in Andover, MA, offering assurance, tax, and advisory services. The SBS Supervisor role resides in the Strategic Business Solutions Team, based in Andover with a flexible hybrid schedule.

The position requires a CPA/EA or progress toward certification, a Bachelor's in accounting, and 3+ years in public accounting. Great client service, coaching, and collaboration are essential for success.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a day-to-day client contact for assigned engagements, developing relationships and supporting client satisfaction.
• Lead and execute accounting and tax engagements for privately held and family-owned businesses and individuals.
• Prepare and review financial statements and related workpapers, focusing on reviews and compilations.
• Assist clients with accounting: journal entries, reconciliations, GL activity, monthly and year-end close.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals (Forms 1065, 1120S, 1040).
• Assist with tax planning, projections, estimated payments, and other year-round needs.
• Participate in retirement plan audit engagements as applicable.
• Coordinate engagement schedules and monitor progress against budgets and deadlines.
• Review work by associates and senior staff for accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
• Identify issues and collaborate with Managers/Partners for solutions.
• Develop understanding of each client’s business and identify additional needs.
• Collaborate with Partners and others to deliver comprehensive service.
• Manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
