KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a regional public accounting firm in Wakefield, MA to hire an experienced Tax Supervisor. This role involves managing tax engagements from start to finish, developing client relationships, and working with firm leadership.

The Tax Supervisor will oversee Senior and Staff Accountants, handle tax compliance, planning, and advisory services, and contribute to staff development and process improvements. A CPA is required; MST is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and oversee their ongoing tax compliance and planning needs.
• Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns.
• Provide tax planning, research, and advisory services to clients across various industries.
• Supervise, delegate, and review the work of junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with Partners and Principals on client engagements and tax strategies.
