TEKsystems in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead definition and implementation of SAP application and technology strategies. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and IT specialists to align SAP architecture with business goals and drive enterprise roadmaps.

The role requires deep SAP domain proficiency, enterprise architecture discipline, strong leadership and mentoring, and the ability to deliver cross‑domain solutions across Order-to-Cash,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five to eight years of business analysis or software development experience preferred.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in at least two SAP architecture domains: business, application, information/data, data integration, technical/infrastructure, security.
• Outstanding communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Embraces an enterprise level architecture focus aligned with company strategy.
• Defines SAP application, information, and technical vision and roadmaps; supports implementation.
• Engages with architects and engineers to ensure adherence to standards and future direction.
• Identifies and tracks key performance indicators with stakeholders.
• Leads SAP application and technical teams to steward the SAP portfolio.
• Provides leadership and oversight to planning and implementation of SAP solutions.
• Partners with architecture and technology leaders on cross-domain solutions.
• Drives creation, adoption and reuse of enterprise assets.
• Researches current technologies to enable innovation and evaluate benefits.
• Leads vendor evaluations within SAP ecosystem to select preferred technologies.
• Mentors and provides hands-on guidance to IT specialists.
• Documents architecture design and analysis work.
