Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Manager of Sanitation to lead our sanitation program across multiple manufacturing sites. The role requires hybrid work with onsite presence and travel up to 70%, and a strong focus on hygienic design and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in dairy processing, CIP systems, and environmental testing, with proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, dairy science, microbiology, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading sanitation in multi-site food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of dairy processing, CIP, MSS, phage monitoring and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation program across facilities to ensure hygienic design and regulatory compliance.
• Validate CIP/SIP processes and optimize cycles to save water, energy and chemicals.
• Drive MSS effectiveness, hygienic zoning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analyze environmental data and support plant issue resolution.
• Report to leadership and manage budget for sanitation programs.
