Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Retail Sales and Service Technician (SST), a hybrid role for stores that develops future career growth. You will serve customers by assessing needs, recommending products and services, and performing entry-level vehicle services to ensure satisfaction.

Role combines front-counter and basic shop tasks: customer service 75%, basic vehicle service 25%, with opportunities to learn store operations and potentially act as Manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid automobile driver’s license.
• Customer service and career growth mindset.
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
• Ability to learn and operate store systems.
• 2 year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other exhibiting the growth mindset that is needed in this candidate.
• Previous consumer retail sales experience.
• Previous automotive experience a plus.
• Previous management/supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and sales; resolve customer issues.
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks: oil, tires, fluids.
• Open/close, inventory, displays; store operations.
• May assist Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty and learn all aspects of store operations.
