Job summary

Sentien Robotics in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Robotics Assembly Technician to build electro‑mechanical subsystems and full systems on our manufacturing floor.

You will follow drawings and work instructions to produce clean, repeatable builds across mechanical hardware, wiring, and electronics, collaborating with the Systems Assembly Lead, technicians, and engineers to keep builds moving and flag issues early.

Qualifications

• Read mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and wiring, including crimping, terminating, and routing cables.
• Proficient with hand tools, torque tools, and a multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical subsystems and full systems per drawings and instructions.
• Build and route wiring harnesses and cables, including crimping and termination.
• Install electronics assemblies, sensors, motors, and power components.
• Perform continuity checks and basic electrical verification with a multimeter.
• Pull and kit parts, flag low stock or missing parts early.
• Perform in-process quality checks for part numbers, torque, routing, and fit.
• Correct defects within scope and route issues to engineering.
• Record completed work, serial numbers, deviations, and rework.
• Keep workstation and shared areas clean, organized, and safe.
