Pantograph in San Francisco is seeking assembly technicians to build our fleet of robotic systems. This hands-on role involves assembling mech and electromechanical components and collaborating with engineers to improve build processes.

Part-time, 10 to 30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. You’ll work with small, precision parts, follow detailed instructions, perform light soldering, and help keep workspaces organized while delivering high-quality assemblies.

Qualifications

• Experience building or repairing things by hand (electronics, bicycles, cars, furniture, robots, etc.).
• Comfortable working with small, precision components.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Able to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components by following detailed assembly instructions.
• Perform soldering, wiring, and other light electrical assembly.
• Use hand tools and light power tools to build high-quality assemblies.
• Inspect parts and finished robots for quality, identifying and flagging issues.
• Help maintain organized workspaces, tools, and inventory.
• Suggest improvements to assembly processes and documentation as you build.
