Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for Shelton, CT, performing in-home visits with a potential hybrid schedule. You will lead, mentor and support field staff while ensuring clients receive top-tier care and compliance with regulations.

The role includes Start of Care assessments, staff onboarding, and ongoing clinical guidance, with an $85k base salary and bonus potential up to 10% plus perq benefits. Candidates must hold an RN license in their state and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in the state of practice.
• At least 3 years of hands-on nursing experience; minimum 1 year in home care or hospital setting.
• Must be able to travel to patients’ homes within designated territory.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and MVR check.
• Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC).
• Willing to supervise caregivers for infants to adults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal case management, education and development of nursing staff.
• Manage transition of patients from facility to home via Start of Care assessments and re-evaluations.
• Review orders and update plans of care and documentation as needed.
• Assist with selecting, training and validating new clinical staff.
• Promote clinical excellence and safe, high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, local regs and Aveanna policies.
