Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Risk Insurance Manager to lead risk identification, claims resolution, and insurance compliance across our 3PL operations.

You will manage end-to-end claims for General Liability, Auto, Cargo, Property, and other lines, while developing risk mitigation strategies.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site at the Des Plaines headquarters and flexible remote days, with a salary range of $124,000 to $135,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in insurance and risk management.
• Knowledge of logistics insurance, multiple coverage lines, policy language interpretation, and rating plans.
• Excellent investigative, problem-solving, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Comfort using databases, risk software, and standard office technology.
• Travel up to 10% to facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate insurance programs and broker/adjuster relations.
• Direct claim resolutions across multiple lines including General Liability and Property.
• Lead the annual Corporate Risk Assessment process with risk scoring and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare insurance submissions and allocate insurance charges across cost centers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and HR to enforce internal controls.
