Job summary

VHB seeks a Revit Designer to join its Watertown, MA office. The role focuses on advanced Revit modeling for high-quality, visible projects from concept through detailed design.

You will collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver complex structural drawings for buildings and transportation infrastructure. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of CAD design experience; ideally 3+ years in Revit architectural/structural modeling and plan production.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of drafting standards.
• AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop structural drawings from concept to final design for various buildings and transportation projects.
• Provide Revit modeling support to Project Planners/engineers and Managers during project planning.
• Create and manage structural models and integrate with architectural/MEP/civil models and CAD files.
• Develop/update BIM standards, workflows and quality control to ensure consistency, quality and efficiency.
