Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support analytics, audits, and improvement initiatives across hospital, physician and home health revenue streams. The role focuses on Epic-based workflows, charge capture, and denials with close collaboration across Revenue Integrity, Finance and IT.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of hospital billing experience, strong analytical skills, and a customer‑focused mindset to optimize reimbursement and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Healthcare preferred.
• EPIC Revenue Integrity, Hospital Billing and Physician Billing Certification preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in a large hospital or integrated healthcare delivery system.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and financial analysis and audits to identify opportunities for improvement across the Revenue Cycle.
• Ensure charge master and fee schedules comply with government policies and third-party payor requirements.
• Review CPT changes related to AMA updates and regulatory changes on timelines.
• Collaborate with Revenue Integrity, Finance, IT and Clinical Operations to Analyze trends and identify corrective actions.
• Support Epic performance reporting, Revenue & Usage, and Charge Reconciliation.
• Mentor and guide Revenue Cycle operations staff in reporting and denials analysis.
