Job summary

E Ink Corporation in Fremont, CA seeks a Research Director to lead a new Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) program. You will define architecture, material systems, and prototype builds while steering a talented, growing team toward manufacturable, high-performance designs.

Ideal candidates have deep polymer science expertise, hands-on leadership, and a track record in CCL or related electronic materials development. This is a high-impact R&D leadership role with strategic collaboration across partners.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with strong background in polymer composites, polymer physics, and CCL/PCB materials.

Responsibilities

• Define composite architecture and material-system concepts for CCL products.
• Own hands-on CCL product design, formulation, and prototype builds.
• Lead experimentation planning, data interpretation, and iterative optimization.
