Job summary

Renewable Careers Limited is seeking a university graduate to support engineering across our renewable project pipeline. You will learn from experienced engineers and take on real responsibility from the start, assisting with design reviews, energy production estimates, site evaluations, and due diligence.

Hybrid work from our Philadelphia office. You will analyze performance data, review submittals from contractors, and help coordinate interconnection applications with utilities and PJM,

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transition.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical topics simple.
• Initiative and curiosity: you take ownership, ask good questions and learn quickly.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Internship, co-op or project experience in energy is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• You will support engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects at every stage.
• Preparing energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence.
• Assisting with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities and PJM processes.
• Reviewing technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendors.
• Supporting construction and commissioning, with travel to project sites across the Mid-Atlantic.
• Analyzing performance data from our operating fleet and recommending improvements.
• Contributing to the tools, templates and standards our engineering team runs on.
