Renewable Careers Limited in Chicago is seeking a civil/ME/EE engineer to support our renewable project pipeline. You will assist engineering design reviews, prepare energy production estimates, and coordinate interconnection applications with PJM and MISO, traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering (or related field).
• Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and clean energy transition.
• Strong data handling and spreadsheet skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics simply.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems projects.
• Prepare energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence.
• Assist with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities (PJM and MISO).
• Review technical submittals from EPCs, consultants and equipment vendors.
• Support construction and commissioning, with travel to project sites across the Midwest.
• Analyze performance data from operating assets and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to tools, templates and standards used by the engineering team.
