Job summary

Renewable Careers Limited is a clean energy company expanding its Tampa team as we develop, build, own and operate solar, wind and battery energy storage projects across the United States. In this full-time role, you will join our engineering team and contribute from day one across the project pipeline.

You will support engineering design, prepare site evaluations and energy production estimates, and coordinate with utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and clean energy transition.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort with data and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to simplify technical topics.
• Initiative, curiosity and quick learning; ownership mindset.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Internship, co-op or project experience in energy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects.
• Prepare energy production estimates, site evaluations and due diligence.
• Assist with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities.
• Review technical submittals from EPCs, consultants and vendors.
• Support construction and commissioning with travel to project sites in the Southeast.
• Analyze performance data and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to tools, templates and standards used by the team.
