Renewable Careers Limited in San Francisco is seeking an Entry-Level Renewable Energy Engineer (I/II/III) to support design, execution and operation across solar, wind and BESS projects. Hybrid work from our SF office with mentorship from senior engineers provides early ownership over projects.

You will learn through hands-on exposure to feasibility, construction, interconnection, data analysis and asset performance, with real scope to impact a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, renewable energy or related field) required.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to simplify technical topics.
• Proactive, curious mindset with ownership and quick learning.
• US work authorization required.
• Internship/co-op/research in energy is a plus but not required; aptitude matters most.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS from feasibility to construction.
• Run energy production estimates, site assessments, and technical due diligence.
• Assist with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities and grid operators.
• Review deliverables from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment suppliers.
• Support construction and commissioning, including site visits nationwide.
• Analyze performance data from operating assets and suggest improvements.
• Help build internal tools and standards to scale the portfolio.
