Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is expanding our Compliance team with nationwide consideration for an Underwriting Audit Supervisor. This role leads the underwriting audit program, ensuring adherence to guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal standards while providing actionable insights to executive leadership.

The position oversees audit staff, partners with Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and executives, and drives continuous improvement across the underwriting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 7–10 years of commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or related insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the underwriting audit program and develop annual audit plans and methodologies.
• Evaluate underwriting files for compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance metrics; present findings to leadership.
• Lead corrective action plans and drive process improvements.
• Identify training opportunities and mentor audit staff.
• Manage staff performance and foster a collaborative, accountable culture.
