VAA is seeking a Structural Designer to join our hybrid/remote team. You will collaborate with Engineers and Designers to produce quality drawings from concept through construction documents, setting up plans and details to our drafting standards.

You will coordinate with multi-discipline teams, review work of Technicians, and support continuous learning and client service. The starting hourly range reflects market data and location, with benefits like health, 401(k) and time off.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate in construction related design/drafting or higher.
• 5+ Years of experience in structural design/drafting.
• Experience drafting to specified standards and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Produce quality drawings for varied project types from concept through construction documents.
• Set up plans, sections and details to drafting standards.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline design team, clients and suppliers.
• Provide direction to Technicians and review their work.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and teammates on design decisions.
• Utilize software with increasing efficiency.
• Undertake increasingly complex design tasks and commit to learning.
