Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst, Managed Care in Brentwood, TN. The role supports hospital and facility contract performance with data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

You will model contracts, analyze payer trends, and deliver dashboards using Excel, SQL, and Power BI. Hybrid/remote work available with opportunities to influence network strategy and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare finance, managed care, revenue cycle, or a related function.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Model and review hospital, physician, ancillary, fee-for-service, and value-based contracts using Excel or similar tools.
• Use BI, financial reporting, and contract management tools to analyze payer contract performance and trends.
• Design and deliver standard and ad hoc managed care financial reports, dashboards, and analyses with SQL, Power BI, and other tools.
• Maintain contract and payer data to support reporting, analysis, and contract administration.
• Summarize contract language, rate exhibits, and reimbursement provisions that impact hospital reimbursement and revenue.
• Monitor reporting schedules and update recurring reports, trackers, and contract files.
• Collaborate with negotiators, finance, revenue cycle, and facility teams to resolve data discrepancies and support implementation.
• Coordinate contract updates and communication with payers and stakeholders.
• Identify trends and opportunities to optimize revenue and alignment.
