Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams and a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent background.
• Acts on actuarial projects including experience analyses, pricing, filing and settlement work with reporting for capitation initiatives.
• Supports audits by explaining models, data and providing supporting detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and implements risk contracts including experience analyses, pricing, filing and settlement work; prepares management reports supporting new capitation initiatives.
• Assists in training actuarial trainees, analysts and specialists; coordinates/directs special actuarial projects.
